my od off light is on how do I turn my OD back on?

My OD off light just turned on with out warning and I don't know how to turn my OD back
on. HELP

Usually if you can't turn the O/D light off with the switch, there is an issue with the transmission. The car will need to scanned for the transmission codes to see what the real problem is.
