15 inch tire to 16 inch tire

I have a 1992 Honda Accord ex automatic with
stock 15 inch  rims and tires. Will it affect my
transmission if I was to change rim and tire size to
a 16 inch?

No problem. Pick a tire size with the same diameter as what you have now.
