my grear shifter will not go into park linkage

5 posts with the same question? So a screw broke off and you can't get the shifter into park. Sounds to me like you are going to have to take the plastic panels off the steering column and figure out what exactly broke in the shift linkage to repair. If you are not mechanically inclined, you will have to drive it over to a repair shop.
