Hey Mike, he did not say reset odometer. That would be wrong to do. By resetting “Speedometer” he most likely means that his speedometer is either not working at all or showing the wrong speed. There are calibration tools to do this for Fords 1999 and up. Look for speedometer calibration tool on Amazon and make sure you have your vehicle chosen through Amazon to help ensure it is for your vehicle. I would still message the seller to confirm. Once you use it, you can resell for how ever much less you think the tool was worth to use one time, and Im sure you can find a buyer. You can calibrate the speedometer for different size tires. If it’s something else (like the needle not moving or jumping around) then this can be solder connections on the back of the instrument cluster or plug issues to the sensor at the transmission. These Fords have no mechanical speedometer cable like the much older Fords. For slight older Fords that still run by wire before 1999, you need to change the plastic speedometer gear for the sensor that registers the speed. It’s in the tail end of the transmission. There are a few different tooth count and colored gears for this. Ebay is a good source for those.
