Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hello, I am an owner of a 2004 Honda Accord approx. 170K miles, I have been having issues with it starting. For the past few weeks it will not start off the 1st or 2nd turn of key only on the 3rd. This morning I went to start it and it only clicked a few times but wont turn over, gave it a couple minutes and tried again with no success. All my lights come on , radio, AC and etc it just wont start .

Most likely a starter failure if all you hear is a loud click and the lights stay bright, on some Hondas the starter has a solenoid on it that the contacts and contact ring wear out, those can be replaced, and some parts stores, but not all will do it for you, if you have the correct solenoid, if not then the entire starter must be replaced.
