2005 honda accord v6 shifting into gear but not driving

2005 honda accord shifting into gears but does not drive just revs. the car will
move a little bit if its cold started but once it warms up the trans just stops. the
car starts up fine

It sounds like it is time for a new transmission. If you can check the fluid level.

my idea, If it is the transmission i am thinking about there is a governor. the governor teeth wear out. it is a simple thing to replace. there is a small round plate held in by a snap ring on the top rear of the trans. take out the snap ring and pull the cover off and then pull out the governor. check it and if it is worn just go to O' Reilly with the vin and they can get you one. Just my idea, hope it helps
