2016 Mazda 3 Hatchback - Rain Sensor

Asked by Apr 26, 2016 at 04:30 PM about the 2016 Mazda MAZDA3 i Touring Hatchback

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Just purchased, had windows tinted they put a
strip on windshield and when I got back in the
rain sensor near the mirror fell off windshield. I
tried to press back on and nothing, just keeps
falling off. I taped up and works, but how do I
fix? Glue & what kind? Replace silicone pad?
Help before I go back I want to know what
needs to be done to fix.

There is a special adhesive that is used to bond it to the glass, take it back as they may have to trim some of the tinting to put the sensor back in the proper position.
