Since Subaru is having SO MUCH TROUBLE with the Battery? electrical system on their Outbacks, why don't they do something about it? I finally put on a 1000 CA battery in June and so far have not had the "dead Battery" problem return. Subaru, get off your duff and solve this.

It is about time Subaru stepped up to the plate and solved/resolved this
annoying glitch with their Outbacks. For a car that I am pretty pleased with this
is a giant pain in the **s. They are just putting in the cheapest battery they can
to get them off the lot.

Okay.... interesting.....why not just call the AAA and have them put a new battery in the car... unconditional guaranteed for 3 years and prorated for another 3 years .......they will find the precise battery for your car...no hassle.... AND, they come directly to you.... I purchased my AAA battery to ensure that if it fails, roadside assistance will bring me a replacement no matter where I am. Now, isn't that easy.... pretty hard to beat this service.

My 2017 Subaru Outback's battery dies if I open the car with my fob, and then do not lock it again. For instance, the car is in my garage, and I hit the "open" button on the fob, get something out of the car, and IF I DO NOT LOCK IT AGAIN, the battery dies overnight. Hello - I have a question for all the Subaru experts if you could please. I was planning to buy a 2011 Outback tonight, 95K miles. What I found out today is making me question the investment. After reading about the CVT issues, I started digging and confirmed that this Outback did have an issue just a few months ago and SOA confirmed the CVT in this vehicle has a 24K or 24 month warranty since it was replaced with a remanufactered (NOT REBUILD) CVT under warranty. So, should I buy it and have peace of mind that the CVT issues have been addressed and maybe I'll get 100k miles out of it or walk away? Can't afford a new one, so was looking for exactly this price range - I think I should happy at this news since the known CVT problems have been addressed but could I be getting into a money pit. I have a 2013 Subaru Outback 3.6R with about 40,000 miles on it. I was driving on the highway in traffic this past week, going about 65 mph and the engine stalled. The car "lunged" a couple of times then completely died. Had to coast through traffic to the shoulder of the road. Dealer can't replicate the issue so is unable to make any type of repair.
