why does my 94 yukon cut off when im parking
Can you please be a bit more specific? "cut off when parking"? If you describe your trouble in detail it will help us try to figure out what is going on. Thanks.
1994....rubber parts will degrade, if in constant service and exposed to oil...constantly. Going to have to say you have a vacuum leak that increases when the wheel is turned...perhaps the motor mounts are compromised, vacuum lines made of butyl rubber are deteriorating, recommend replacing them with silicone: summit racing has them: http://www.summitracing.com/search/Part-Type/Hoses- Miscellaneous/Fluid-Type/Vacuum/? autoview=SKU&keyword=Silicone&mbid=516876&gclid=COGawPv_tb YCFbE-MgodjDkAMA
that girl who was begging "can't anyone help me" with five of our best gurus trying to solve her problem got me...jeez, some people's kids, I tell ya~ had to pin that one as incompetent.
Hi yerself Judge. When I saw this guys username I was tempted to just ask "why are you here? Take it to a shop richboy.".but I want to be nice..I got a little bit nasty and posted some stuff yesterday that was uncalled for so I am making an effort to be much more mellow
yeah H25, perhaps the guy's named 'dick'. we don't know.
you the man judge roy
why do they still use butyl rubber? guess it's cheap.
Hey which you are you talking about above.. "can't get anyone to help me?"
you know richboy (probably 46 years old) you can find a vacuum leak by using an unlit propane torch, by starting the engine, then waving the propane torch (unlit) over the suspected leak, when the rpm's increase, boy, howdy there's your leaker~
