2020 GMC Yukon

The GMC Yukon, a full-size SUV, enters 2020 without major changes. It's similar to the Ford Expedition, Nissan Armada, and Toyota Sequoia.
The Yukon comes standard with a 5.3-liter V8 engine that makes 355 horsepower and 383 pound-feet of torque. It pairs with a 6-speed automatic transmission. You can upgrade to a 6.2-liter V8, which pumps out 420 hp and 460 lb-ft. It's mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission. Both engines feature active fuel management that allows them to revert to 4-cylinder mode. Rear-wheel drive (RWD) comes standard and 4-wheel drive (4WD) with a 2-speed transfer case is optional. The 5.3-liter is capable of towing as many as 6,500 lbs, while the 6.2-liter bumps that up to 8,400 lbs. You can expect 15 mpg city, 22 highway, and 18 combined at the pump.
The Yukon comes in SLE, SLT Standard Edition, SLT and Denali trims. The SLE grade includes the 5.3-liter engine, 18-inch alloy wheels, HD radio, a 4G LTE WiFi hotspot, 3-zone automatic climate control, an 8-inch infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a 9-speaker Bose premium audio system.
The SLT Standard Edition trim adds leather upholstery, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, power-adjustable pedals, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror. Meanwhile, the SLT level offers the 6.2-liter engine and adds a power liftgate, keyless open, keyless start, a power-adjustable steering column, heated front and outboard second-row seats, and a power-folding third row. You can expect 15.3 cubic feet of cargo space behind the third row.
The range-topping Denali grade comes with the 6.2-liter engine, HID headlights, 20-inch wheels, a head-up display (HUD), an 8-inch instrument cluster, navigation, and active noise cancellation.
The Yukon comes standard with a reversing camera, the Teen Driver safety system, front and rear parking sensors, and a rear-seat reminder. Forward-collision alert, automatic high beams, automatic emergency braking, and a safety alert seat come with the SLT Standard Edition and above trims. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration gave the Yukon a 4-star overall rating.
The Yukon can carry plenty of people and cargo, making it a good choice for those interested in a full-size SUV.
