My flywheel is rubbing against my starter when i
turn it over the car was just running now it wont
start up i think its the timing but im not sure can
you help me out
Did you replace the starter? if so there should have been a few shims in the box, this is a trial and error type of fit, so it may take a few tries to get the right adjustment. Timing is computer controlled on this rig, so if you turn the distributor you will get the cam signal out of sync with the crank signal. Now you need to find out if it is spark or fuel that is causing your no start. Check for spark at the plugs, if no spark you will have to test the can and crank sensors and thier wiring, if you have spark then spray some starter fluid in the intake tube while someone cranks the engine over, if it fires and runs briefly then it is fuel related, you will have to run a fuel pressure and flow test for the fuel delivery, if that is bad then replace the fuel pump, filter and relay, if good then check for injector power and trigger signal, if no power check for a blown fuse if blown find the short in the injector circuit, possible short to ground or shorted injector, if no trigger signal and you have already checked the cam and crank signals them it is usually the ECM injector driver has went away, replace ECM.
