how to know if the hybrid battery in a Hyundai Sonata is good or not?

Can your drive with the engine off? There should be a battery indicator - read the owners manual.

I don't know how to drive with the engine off, however the battery indicator in my car is always in the average of half way full, does this gives any indication of how good or bad the battery is?
