2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 4x4 Transmission Service

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The question about "can this transmission be serviced?" to "how to service",
"the cost of the fluid", "the cost for a dealer to perform the service", and so
on is so confusing I have no earthly idea at this point if it can be serviced and
if it can, what type of fluid to be used, etc.  I don't have $1,000 for a
transmission service, let alone $3 or $4K for a new transmission.  Any help,
suggestions, direction in this matter is greatly appreciated.

Are you having transmission issues now? I suggest you find a local reputable transmission garage not a chain, and talk to the owner, and have them take a look at the vehicle. Transmission work as you found out is expensive and not the answer you want to hear. Also replacing one for $3K when you don't have to would not be good. I wish you luck.
