1998 gmc savana 5.7 L can not start new bettery new sensors new fuel filter pump is good, and if you start it shut down engine same moment like not enough gas or not enough RPM, and check gages light on

mine did that and it was the starter, I believe. I have mine list as a 1999 however it is actually a 1998, too.

its you security system located next to the ignition switch under the cowling. bypass it and the security light will remain on but the vehicle will run.
