Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I replaced the stereo in my 2015 Dodge Dart SXT and now have a issue with
the battery drain, I first thought this was a issue with alternator not high
enough output so went with a higher output alternator. The radio shop then
solved a problem with the radio control modual but it seems something is still
effecting the battery as I just got an aleart from HUM that there is a yellow
battery altert from my car.

It's probably still a module. You used to be able to track down a parasitic drain with a test light or meter, comparing current draw before and after pulling fuses to isolate the circuit causing the drain, but there are so many modules now you need far better scan tools to find the problems. Check over the work you did for the radio, make sure you didn't leave any grounds detached or shorted.

have the car in a shop now where good friend of mine that is a mechanic is going over it. If there are any bad connections they should be able to find them.
