How to turn off Low oil message or at least disable the sound!

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

HI there all! I have a question about my 2003 Yukon XL. It has been flashing
a low oil message at me for a while, but we know that it is just a bad sensor.
That we have had replaced in the past, but it just keeps going bad really
fast. I was wondering I there is anyway that I could disable the message, or
at least disable the dinging sound when it goes off. Another note Is that it
only ever going off if I'm stopped, once I start moving again it goes off. Not
sure if that makes a difference. But thank you all again, I can't seem to find
anything on this online so i'm hoping someone may have a solution for me!

Try pressing the trip odometer reset button momentarily to acknowledge the message. Hope that helps! Jim
