I'm purchasing a 2014 Corvette Premier Edition, number 9 from a local dealer. The car has a standard placard rather then the premier edition. I was told this was due to it being one of the first 10, which were used as GM show cars which the first 10 did not offer the limited addition placard. I was told the same story buy another chevy dealer who was offering #8 for sale. If true, how can I purchase no.9?Thank you

check the vin number. It will start with 300001. This is the only proof of the premier edition.

Yes, the vin # is 300009, but no placard to confirm. Thank you,

Contact Chevy or GM and see if they will send the placard to the dealer to install if you want one. It would change the uniqueness of it though. Get that explanation in writing and make a copy to keep with the car incase anyone asks.
