Used 2021 Chevrolet Corvette for SaleNationwide

How much does the 2021 Chevrolet Corvette cost?

Prices have softened 5.60% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,208 listings available, which gives you a meaningful amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2021 Chevrolet Corvette a good car?

Yes — 4.9/5 owners’ rating points to strong satisfaction, and the expert rating is 7.8/10. The standout strength is Cost effectiveness at 10/10.

Owners consistently praise the powerful performance, stunning looks, and value for money. They also describe it as the best version yet, with the kind of appeal that makes it feel special without chasing supercar pricing.

The main trade-offs are a cabin that could be more user-friendly and a design that strays a bit from the traditional Corvette identity. In practical terms, this is a car that fits you best if you want style, performance, and everyday usability in a dramatic package.

Good and great deals account for 36.1% of listings, so you still have room to shop selectively.

Is the 2021 Chevrolet Corvette reliable?

Owners rate it 4.9/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction. Reviewers also describe it as a car they’re extremely impressed with, and they repeatedly emphasize its strong value and performance over time.

The expert evaluation also points to a car that feels easy to live with day to day, with intuitive controls and a satisfying user experience. The performance write-up adds that it is nearly as easy to daily drive as a typical family sedan or SUV, which supports confidence in regular use.

Chevrolet also includes a free Teen Driver system, and Connected Services can add automatic collision notification and emergency calling with a subscription. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about basic dependability and more about whether the car has been cared for properly given its performance-focused hardware.

What should I look for when buying a used 2021 Chevrolet Corvette?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 87.3% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the history report carefully, because a clean listing percentage does not replace documentation. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection that focuses on the car’s low-slung bodywork, visibility-related equipment, and any signs of hard use. Condition matters a lot here, especially if the car has been driven the way a Corvette invites you to drive it.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The 2LT and 3LT add visibility enhancements that are not on the 1LT, including a front-facing camera, blind-spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic alert. If you want the most useful everyday equipment, those gaps matter.
• Powertrain: You get a 6.2-liter V8 with an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission, and the available Z51 package adds performance exhaust, adaptive dampers, performance brakes, a performance rear-axle ratio, an electronic limited-slip rear differential, heavy-duty cooling, and high-performance run-flat tires.
• Safety package: Teen Driver is standard, and Chevrolet Connected Services can add automatic collision notification and emergency calling. The visibility-enhancement suite includes a front-facing camera, blind-spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic alert, but those features are limited to the 2LT and 3LT trims.
• Infotainment: You get an 8-inch touchscreen, an available 12-inch digital instrument display, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and available navigation and enhanced voice recognition. A head-up display is standard on 2LT.
• Fuel efficiency: The car is described as having poor fuel economy.

Which 2021 Chevrolet Corvette trim should I buy?

The 2021 Chevrolet Corvette is offered in 3 trim levels: 1LT, 2LT, 3LT.

Here's the short version:

• 1LT: This is the entry point, and it gives you the core Corvette experience with the standard digital display, touchscreen infotainment, wireless smartphone integration, and the car’s standout performance. It makes sense if you want the lowest-cost way into the model.
• 2LT: This is the best-value trim because it adds the head-up display and the visibility-enhancement features that are especially useful in a Corvette. If you want the most balanced mix of equipment and usability, this is the one to target.
• 3LT: This is the most premium version, and it builds on the 2LT with a more upscale cabin experience. Choose it if you want the most fully equipped Corvette and are willing to pay for it.

The safety-enhancement features are restricted to the 2LT and 3LT trims, so those are the trims to prioritize if visibility tech matters to you.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2021 Chevrolet Corvette?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully without feeling rushed.

• Deal availability: 36.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,208 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.60% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 87.3% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $63,218, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2021 Chevrolet Corvette's resale value?

The current average of $63,222 sits slightly below last year's $66,972.

That tells you the market has eased, which can help you buy more selectively now, but it also means future sellers may need to price competitively. If you own one for a while, the current softness suggests resale values may not surge quickly unless demand tightens again.

Even so, the Corvette’s strong desirability and broad appeal should help support used-market interest. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.9/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2021 Chevrolet Corvette safe?

The 2021 Chevrolet Corvette earns a 4/10 safety score from our experts.

Chevrolet includes Teen Driver technology, which can monitor paired key-fob use and generate a driving report card. It also offers Chevrolet Connected Services with automatic collision notification and emergency calling, though that requires a subscription.

You also get a standard rearview camera mirror, high-definition reversing camera, and rear parking sensors. The blind-spot monitoring system, rear cross-traffic alert, and front-facing camera are available only on the 2LT and 3LT trims.

The main caveat is that modern advanced driver-assistance systems are largely absent, so you should not expect adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-keeping assistance, or hands-free driving tech.

Should I buy a 2021 Chevrolet Corvette or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2021 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2021 if:

• 36.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 87.3% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.60% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.9/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2021 stands out for its stylish design, strong value, and easy-to-use technology.

Consider the 2020 if:

• At $61,868, the 2020 costs less than the current year's $63,222 average.
• It introduced the mid-engine transformation and brought supercar-like performance at a lower price.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $66,535, the 2022 costs more than the current year's $63,222 average.
• It keeps the same lineup while adding minor updates and new exterior colors.

The bottom line: If you want the best balance of price, inventory, and satisfaction, the 2021 is the smart default. If you’re especially price-sensitive, the 2020 can save you money while delivering much of the same core appeal.
