car kicked forward when started up...still in park

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Transmission runs rough on startup.  97,000 miles.   Was driving stopped and put foot on
gas and car slightly idled.

Yeah man, without more information, there's not much help to be given here. If it's like it sounds in the title, By the time a transmission problem becomes that noticeable, it's usually too late. Sorry man, all I can say is try to limp it over to a GM dealership.
