My alarm keeps going off for no reason on my 2014 300S. What is the problem?

So, you've checked to make sure the keys aren't having the panic button pressed mistakenly when in a pocket/purse, etc? Is the battery in good condition and the connections tight? Have there been any other odd electrical gremlins with the vehicle, such as an out of place battery drain issue or anything? That was a random few suggestions, but if it's truly not obvious and really is happening with no sort of traceable pattern, I'd suggest visiting a dealer or other highly qualified shop.

The most common fails in this or most of the other makes is the door switches, they get some crud or a little corrosion in them and they start making the security system and interior lighting go crazy, the problem is finding someone with the correct test equipment to find just what switch is acting up, maybe you have a shop that specializes in Chrysler products, if not then, I don't like saying it, your stuck with the dealership.

Thank you very much. I have already taken it to the dealership (still under warranty) and they did nothing because the alarm did not go off in their presence. It stopped for a few weeks and now it's doing it again. The only similarity between when it started and now is the weather. Rainy. I checked the doors to make sure they were shut properly. The fob was no where near the car when the alarm went off. No odd electrical gremlins. I will get my car back to the dealership and insist on a fix.

Absolutely especially if its under warranty, they just don't want to take the time to find the problem cause it is under warranty, the techs don't make as much cause the problem is an intermittent, don't take it back until it is fixed and they can show what they had to do, or they will try another buffalo tactic on you.

Same problem with our 2014 300 Varvatos Edition. Champion Chrysler has had it 4 times, for a total of about two months at their garage and claims it has never gone off there. Even though it has gone off while we were dropping it off the last three times. Under warranty and I think they just don't want to deal with it. Still does it and we have no idea why after being without our car for two months.
