How do I adjust the timing on 97 Ford Crown Victoria

The ignition timing is controlled by the computer, so it can't be adjusted like the older systems. The cam and crank sensors have to match their signals to the ECM for it to run, if they don't match then you get a check engine light and a sync code for cam crank sensor.
