hissing sound when start and stop engine 86 ford ranger 2.9 liter
still have a hissing sound coming from somewhere else not near
the brake vacuum booster line and still hisses when i disconnect
line, held my thumb over it while starting and stoping engine.....
still hissing when start and stop engine, sounds like
breathing/sucking air through a tracheotomy tube if you have
ever heard that sound........ can anyone help ?
Take a can of carburetor cleaner and spray is throttle body cleaner and spray around the area you think the leak is coming from if engine idle rises the leak is in that area that should put you close enough to pin point where the leak is coming from.
I will try this, thank you
