My 84 el camino lights

For the last couple of months I would have to
wiggle my headlight wire for them to come on
but as of recent they were fried and I was
wondering how to repair The wires that were
fried

In that condition I would see if you can find a used one if possible and then used dielectric grease

Get a new headlight switch and headlight switch pigtail. Splice the pigtail to the existing harness at the headlight switch. Use butt connectors of the proper gauge and heat shrink tubing to protect your repair from moisture and to add an extra layer of insulation for safety. Then find out what is drawing excessive power through the switch. Those wires shouldn't have burned up like that!! You're actually lucky you didn't have a fire!! Hope that helps! Jim
