Question type: Maintenance & Repair

'87 S10 Blazer marker lights blink with turn signals (front). When I turn park or headlights on, they cross up (alternate). Is this normal? THANX

Yes, it's perfectly normal. In 1969 several new safety standards were mandated which are still in place today. One of which is front turn signals must either wrap around the front bumper/fender or have front side marker lights that flash in conjunction with the turn signals. This is so that at an intersection driver's on both sides of you know what you're doing. Either turning or going straight. HTH. -Jim
