89 Ford Starts and runs when cold but after about 20 minutes dies and then won't start until it cools off

Asked by Oct 26, 2016 at 04:45 PM about the 1989 Ford F-250 STD Standard Cab LB

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

We have an 89 Ford F-250 with a 300 inline 6.  It starts and runs great
when it's cold.  Once it's been running for a while it will start to cut out, like
it's intermittently not getting gas.   Finally it will die completely and not start
again until it has cooled off.    We have replaced the fuel pump, fuel filters,
and a couple of relays that are related to the fuel system.

Any thought on what else it might be?
