I have a 1981 f250 4x4 with a stock granny 4
speed truck has a 302, would a 460 bolt up
to where the 302 was?

Not a 460, but a 351 would, to get a 460 in there you will need a 460 tranny, the bell housing is different. then check the front GVW if it is the smaller front end you may have to change that too with a 460. HTH
