My son has a 2003 Ford Escape with a V6 and sometimes for no reason at all it will lose all of the instrument gauges briefly while he is driving and then come back on in an instant with no loss of power. There have been times he called me because his car would turn over but not start, When I get there I've checked it with my OBD II reader and no codes would show up. Then after trying to start it several times with no luck, it just fires right back up for no apparent reason. The battery, alternator, are new and working fine. I've checked the cable connections and I'm still at a loss as to why this keeps doing this, I'ts been like this for over a year. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks.
