car will not go into gear..

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have replaced the master cylinder and the slave cylinder and the car will not go into gear when running.. Do I need a new clutch??

yes and the slave is pushing in and out properly and still will not go into gear.

If the clutch is original its time to replace it, when you go into it to do the clutch you will know for sure if the clutch is the culprit.

The symptoms ur describing points to a Frozen Clutch Disc to Flywheel problem. Plus Note: Whilr people have good intentions & wanna help it's not wise to just start throwing new parts at car issue as that's gonna cost ya alot without fixing the main problem ur out to fix!
