I've got a loaded limited with unlimited package. 17,xxx miles and I've been offered $19,000! We purchased this vehicle a year ago this month for right around $30,000. We're presently upside down around $9,000, not good. We love the car, however we bought a house in the mountains and need all wheel drive, thats the only reason for wanting to trade.

I have some serious apprehension with Kevin's answer. 1st off, what kind of APR and down payment did you put on the car and how long is your term to wind up that far upside down? If you're throwing down like 2g's on a 30k car with a apr above 1.9%, of course you're going to wind up upside down early into the loan and even more so if you're going 5, 6 or 7 years. And were you at about 29k all in? Like tax, title, finance? Because even that isn't a great deal, just a good one, but Hyundai themselves are CONSTANTLY running specials on their cars, usually 3k off the sticker before you even begin haggling with the actual dealership on Sonata's and they'll almost always lop off at least another 2 grand. You should have been able to walk out with a Sonata like that for at worst about 29k all in. Was this the 2.0T?
