car runs great ten shuts off randomly but starts right back up if it sits for 15 min

perhaps the fuel filter is choked...check your fuel pressure at the fuel rail...if my suspicions are correct you are getting starved of fuel...perhaps the fuel pump is weak?~ think your fuel system should be checked~

why would it restart and run perfect evrytime after it sits for 10-15 min tho?

ya...acts like a "sponge" for fuel...when pressure is released...let's go it's stored fuel~ 10-15 is long enough for the fuel to bleed back in...you will notice the condition of your fuel filter~ have to change that one...it is routine service...and it sounds like it's NEVER been done~ there are a lot of choices...must chose what you've got https://www.google.com/? gws_rd=ssl#q=2001+Dodge+Stratus+SE+fuel+filter&tbm=shop
