Kia optima hybrid 2012 wont start

It clicks and makes noise and tgen
everything goes on and off like the brake
lights and things in car

New battery....follow the black battery 1/0 cable to where it attaches to the chassis ground....wirebrush the lug by holding the lug with a pliers in one hand and wirebrushin' with the other....on the frame too----keep brushing 'till shiny....bolt them together with the NEW battery and things will be all smiles~
