Question type: Maintenance & Repair

having trouble with stalling on my 2002 intrepid. Replaced with aftermarket parts and problem continues. Last trip to the mech. showed the cam sensor again(only after 3 weeks) My question is you can buy dealer parts at NAPA but are they the same as the parts u can get at the Dodge dealer/ Is there a difference?

honestly about the only difference between the parts you get at the parts store compared to the ones you want to replace on your vehicle for the most part is the amount of oil and dirt you'll find on them

oh i almost forgot to mention, but the napa parts like those from csk and autozone cost less than the same part from the dealer.

it is possible the sensors are correct to throw a code. They detect the proper alighnment of the cam and crankshaft.
