i have a 2002 dodge caravan grand. we went to Arkansas my battery lite came on went to oreilly they told me that it was my battery and then they said it was my alteranator, so i brought a battery and a alterantor, went 2 more hours the battery light came back on ,so when i got back home i went to oreilly and they said my p.c borad was out so i brought one of them , and a dodge dealer put it in ,then he check it out, he said it was the alternator was bad, so i got the second one and put it in , guess what the battery light is back on and the alternator is bad ,again .. so if anybody can help me i would really appersiate it very much

something could be shorting out the alternator remember a battery is only needed to start a car if the alternator is bad your car will stall out have somebody put a tester on your car checking battery and alternator again it could be something else besides the battery or alternator like a short somewhere
