My 2006 dodge caravan xied. The engine light came on and then died. I hooked it up to a xevice which said then ca sensor and position sensor was bad . I was told they were the same thing. I change it but it still doest't start. What cluld cause this?

I need to proofread my spelling. My car died. I hooked it up to a device and it told me it was the cam sensor and the position sensor. I was told they were the same thing. Is there another sensor in a 2006 dodge caravan? If so, where would it be? Ichanged the cam sensor but it still doesn't start.

If it cranks over but does not start check for spark and gas flow to throttle body if nether check on the computer
