I have a 2004 ford explore you can crank it up drive it but it's like no fuel is getting to it what could be the problem

Possible fuel regulator, or fuel pump. More than likely the fuel regulator. But another thing that happens with these is the sock in the gas tank gets plugged also. Would have to do some fuel pressure test to determine what is going on.
