Price paint jobs and see for yourself. Maaco paint jobs are cheap but look hideous if you get closer than 30'. Quality paint jobs are expensive.

I'd say no. According to kbb.com the vehicle is only worth about $7,000. A decent paint job, including any body work needed, will cost about half that much. You'll never be able to pull that kind of money back out of a 9 year old vehicle. I say sell it as it is. Hope that helps! Jim

If you hang onto the car long enough I suppose painting it could be worth while but not if you are going to sell it.

What color is the original factory paint? Does it appear to be ...peeling off the surface of this vehicle? Might be included in a Toyota Recall.
