switch, wiring or motor. one of these three. Which window are you talking about?

Yes, either switch, motor, or wiring. Could be the regulator assembly has seized, although usually when these break the window falls down. Window regulator and motor are replaced as an assembly, though, so you have to buy the whole kit and caboodle.
