Can anyone tell me if a 2005 dodge stratus 3.0 engine will fit into a 2004 dodge stratus car? The 2004 has a 2.7 currently.

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My son wrecked his 2005, I found a 2004 with a
blown motor but perfect body condition.  I am trying
to find out if they are compatible.

It will be allot of work, you will need to installed everything from the 2005 into the 2004. You can get a used car anywhere from 2,000 to 4,000. I think it's not worth the time and money to dump into this car...

Thank you. I may have been wrong on the 2005 engine, I am not sure. I think only the coupes have the 3.0 and his is not the coupe so I am thinking the engines are the same if that makes it any better.
