i have a 2006 dodge stratus, the timing belt recently broe while driving. I had the belt replaced and no other damage occured. Now the car struggles once it gets to 3 RPM. The car literally Jults. Can someone please have any idea what this could be?
May have warped a valve in the head causing this, have the compression checked on the engine.
Actually, warped valve will depend on your engine. EZD, 4G64 8 valves and EDV/EDT should not break if timing belt breaks since it's a non-interference design. However, if it's a 4G64 16 valves, it could warp the valves.
