Started with x56 extended warranty

Asked by Luckyking187 Nov 24, 2018 at 02:14 PM about the 2012 Dodge Charger SE RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hello, I have a 2012 charger with almost 89k. Did
compression test cylinder 2 had low compression.
I heard about extended warranty through Chrysler.
So I went to the dealership got it fixed. I noticed
coolant slowly dropping in the resivoir. About 2000
miles later I took it back under the warranty. Tech
found head gasket on left side had failed. He
replaced it supposedly. 60 miles later it's now
leaking coolant out rear corner of the left head.
And still pushing coolant out the relief. Less than
before but I know it's not right. Tech is now
denying any leaks. Can someone please help with
advice. Why this is happening

Get more documentation of the leak. You could try another dealer or a independent shop.

That's exactly my thoughts. Now I can't think of anything else that would be pushing coolant out the relief in the resivoir. It's not over filled. Please someone correct me if I'm wrong. But I will definitely take your advice.

I'm starting to fear that the second time I took it back they poured sealant into the resivoir then decided to call and say there's no leaks. To cover there screw up. Hell this was my dream car. It's probably going to be my last Dodge I ever own

Being since the first head gasket after the x56 head replacement failed, is it possible the alluminum head warped. Possibly the block. In mind I have never had problems with it until I took it in for the x56 service bulletin
