02 Jetta 1.8t. Turns over but will not start

My 02 Jetta 1.8t, turns over but will not start. First I will say the car was running but over
heated and engine shut off. After that the engine will not start, and it's been 2 weeks
trying to figure out this issue. I have replaced spark plugs, coils, oil pressure sensor,
thermostat, and coolant sensor. Still nothing, it just keeps turning over.

Did you check for compression or check the timing belt marks, to make sure the belt didn't jump? Have to start with the basics .
