A clogged exhaust could cause problem. Check exhaust back pressure, use a pressure gage. With the proper fittings, you could remove front 02 sensor and screw in the gage. A spec I saw at idle says 1.5 psi or less. You could loosen the exhaust to let backpressure escape, to see if it performs better? Yeah, It will be a little loud. The cat seems to be the number one issue with too much backpressure. If backpressure is the problem?
