how do u stop the ticking sound in my engine

Ticking noises in any vehicle could mean a push rod is loose. A push rod is an important part of your piston working. If you are interested in learning more about what it is and it's functions, Google "push rod". Bottom note, if you aren't mechanically savvy take the car to the shop. It's not an easy fix or something to tinker with.
