Assuming we're talking about a factory alarm? Aftermarkets tend to cause more problems than factory (installation is the cause). Ensure the alarm has been disarmed before doing this. The alarm arm/disarm share one wire. It should be located in the drivers kick panel with a 20-pin black connector. The wire you're looking for is Light Green/Orange. The wire receives a 12v(+) for both arming and disarming. 12v thru a 470 Ohm resistor will disarm and 12v thru a 940 Ohm resistor will arm the system. If there appears to be added wiring (T-taps, butt-connectors, ect) you may have an aftermarket alarm. I can walk you through that removal also.

What is the problem? So, you've cut this wire? Is your battery dying or the horn honking? Would you elaborate on the issue?
