Question type: Maintenance & Repair

2006 Nissan frontier xe 4 cylinder has no heat.  When blower is on low you can put your
hand up to the vent and feel some heat but turning it up any higher the heat doesn't
overcome the cold temperatures outside.  The truck isn't overheating.  I checked coolant
levels.  I tried flushing the heater core.  If anyone has any ideas please let me know.

Let truck warm up,for a few minute,s,then on the passenger side there will be two heater hose,s going in to firewall, check them for heat,if they are warm,it will be the blend door or actuator motor,in the blower box under dash not flipping over to heat,if the line,s going into firewall are not warm, change your thermostat.

Thanks T_S_T. I felt the lines. The inlet line is kind of warm but the outlet line is cold as the outdoor temp. Shouldn't the line be to hot to touch?

Yes if engine has warmed up,it should be to hot to touch, sound,s like you may need to change the thermostat.
