OVER FILLED OIL

It all depends on how much overfilled it is, usually taking off the oil filter and draining it out and then reinstalling it gets it close, if it is really overfilled then your best bet would be to drain the oil out in a clean catch pan and then refilling with the oil you drained to the full mark on the dipstick, start to check for leaks and then recheck oil level.
