I have a standard the question is to go with 3.73's or 4.10's to gain acceleration and get rid of the drone caused by the axle backs. I use the car as a car but love to go fast fast, but I do not want to be impractical.

A 3.73 ratio will give you more top speed, & a 4.10 ratio will give you more acceleration at (low end) like for lightning quick starts off the line. Pro-drag racers use 4.56- 4.88 posi & up ratio's to launch their cars off the line, but has limited top speed because of higher RPM's at top speed.
