Front Driver side wheel

Asked by Jun 26, 2014 at 10:53 AM about the 2006 Chrysler 300 Touring AWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

In the front drivers end of my car I am having a squeaking noise that appears any time i
am driving over 25 mph hitting any kind of bumps, then it goes away when I apply the
brakes.  I have done some research and it can range from a wheel bearing, to rotors, to
brake pads, to just needing oil on my suspension.  If anyone that knows a lot about cars
could you please tell me what is wrong?

I think you covered all the basis. If it goes away when you brake, it's very likely it's your brakes. Have the pads looked at, they might be worn.

Pads are not 100% serviceable and have a small steel tang that rubs on rotor while brake pads are not engaged.
