Can't shift 06 300 Tour out of park, what happened?

Went to back car out from garage and shifter would not move out of park, no advanced warning ,no codes showing ?

Common problem with chargers and 300s. There is an orange tab under the lever bezel which can be pushed to release the lever, but you still have to drive to garage to fix. Check google for several items with pictures to verify your car has this fault.

Problem found under shifter where small spring hooks on to "pink" plastic piece part, ordered billet alum. part for more permanent repair. Thanks for helpful answers and youtube video sites. PTerry....

Pink plastic piece is broken.... Utube has a great video that shows u what to do.just flick the pink switch once the assembly is taken apart and it works like a dream... Until the day your and my VIN number is includedin ttheir campaign
