Won’t turn over

I try to start my car it won’t turn over just a
clicking noise. Also you can’t turn the key all
the way back. Light on panel and headlights
stay on I have to disconnect battery just so it
won’t die someone help I’m a single mother
of three

That clicking is telling me your battery is not strong enough to start the engine. Have your battery checked and replace if weak.
